Azerbaijani Police officers made sacrifices in the Patriotic War
Baku, The Gulf Observer: An event was held in Nasimi district on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijani police.
According to the Azerbaijani media reports that the head of the district police department, police colonel Mirnemat Mirbabayev, congratulated the event participants on the occasion of July 2 – Azerbaijan Police Day, wished the police officers success in their future activities and gave extensive information about the activities of the Azerbaijani police, including the employees of the Nasimi District Police Department, in the years of independence.
Asif Asgarov, the head of Nasimi District Executive Power, talked about the glorious historical path of the Azerbaijani police.
It was reported that the police officers made sacrifices and defended the Motherland during the Karabakh war. Employees of the Internal Troops, who heroically fought for the liberation of our homeland from occupation in the 44-day Patriotic War written in golden letters in the history of Azerbaijan, were awarded various orders and medals, including the title of Hero of the Patriotic War, by the orders of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
It was noted that in all areas of our country, including the cities and regions freed from occupation, the employees of the internal affairs bodies, who adequately coped with this important responsibility, are successfully serving day and night to justify the trust shown.
At the end of the event, commemorative gifts were presented to a group of police officers.
