Bahrain Crown Prince attends state funeral of former Japanese PM

Tokyo, The Gulf Observer: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, today attended the state funeral of the former Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, in Tokyo, Japan.

HRH Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad commended the late Mr Abe’s prominent role in strengthening Bahrain-Japan relations and recalled Mr Abe’s service to his country and its citizens.

His Royal Highness emphasised the Kingdom’s commitment to furthering Bahrain-Japan relations to benefit both countries and their peoples.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and several senior officials also attended the state funeral.
