Bahrain’s FM calls Israeli PM
Manama, The Gulf Observer: Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, held a telephone call with the Israeli PM , Yair Lapid.
The Foreign Minister expressed to the Israeli PM that the Kingdom of Bahrain welcomes what was included in his speech before the United Nations General Assembly in New York, and the call for the two-state solution and how it could contribute to achieving peace, security and stability for the Palestinian and Israeli people.
During the call, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation in various fields and ways to further develop them in order to achieve common interests, within the framework of the Abraham Accords, to consolidate peace, development and prosperity.
They also reviewed the outcomes of the Negev Forum and how it helped in promoting cooperation between the participating countries to serve the common interests of their people, in addition to achieving security, stability and development in the region.
Moreover, they discussed the latest regional and international developments and issues of common interest.
