China Celebrates 75th Anniversary of Founding with Flag-Raising Ceremony at Tiananmen Square
Beijing, The Gulf Observer: A grand flag-raising ceremony was held at Tiananmen Square on Tuesday to mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China (PRC). The ceremony, a significant national event, was attended by a large crowd from across the country.
The Guard of Honor of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army solemnly escorted the national flag to the center of the square as the military band played the national anthem. This symbolic act celebrates the historic day of October 1, 1949, when the first national flag of the PRC was raised at the very same square, signifying the start of a new chapter for the Chinese people.
