Diplomatic Corps Representatives Visit Istisu Mineral Water Plant in Kalbajar

Kalbajar, The Gulf Observer: Representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan visited the Istisu mineral water plant in the Kalbajar district on September 12 as part of their tour of Azerbaijan’s liberated territories.
During the visit, the diplomats were briefed on the facility and the characteristics of the region’s renowned thermal springs.
Located at an altitude of more than 1,600 meters above sea level, the Istisu thermal springs produce mineral-rich water with a natural temperature exceeding 60 degrees Celsius.
Mineral water sourced from the renowned Istisu springs is noted for its high quality and recognized health benefits, making the facility an important part of Kalbajar’s economic and tourism development.
The two-day visit includes a 150-member delegation representing 58 countries and nine international organizations.
The visit marks the 22nd occasion since 2020 that representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan have traveled to the country’s liberated territories, providing them with an opportunity to observe ongoing reconstruction, development and restoration efforts firsthand.
