Eid al-Fitr Prayers Held in Liberated City of Shusha

Shusha, The Gulf Observer: The Eid al-Fitr prayer, marking the conclusion of Ramadan, was observed in the liberated city of Shusha, as reported by News Hub Consultants.
This year, the residents who have returned to Shusha participated in the prayers at the historic Yukhari Govhar Agha Mosque, a significant departure from previous years. The prayers were dedicated to the people and state of Azerbaijan, as well as to the fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s territorial integrity.
Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, is one of the holiest periods for Muslims worldwide. It is observed with fasting from dawn to sunset, abstaining from food, drink, and smoking during daylight hours. Fasting is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, which form the foundation of a Muslim’s faith and practice.
The return of Eid prayers to Shusha symbolizes a new era of peace, resilience, and spiritual revival in the city, which holds deep cultural and historical significance for Azerbaijan.
