Guangzhou hosts a discussion on upcoming Presidential elections in Uzbekistan

Guangzhou, The Gulf Observer: Diplomats of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou, with the participation of the leaders and experts of the Guangdong Union for International Scientific and Technical Cooperation with CIS Countries, held a roundtable discussion on the Presidential Elections scheduled for July 9.
Information was provided on the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan and the results of the referendum held on April 30, 2023, on the draft Constitutional Law “On the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the candidates and their programs put forward by political parties and on constitutional reforms.
Chinese experts noted that the renewed Constitution adopted by the people of Uzbekistan and the ongoing reforms would become an important basis for the people’s well-being and the country’s sustainable development.
