HM the Sultan of Oman, Emir of Kuwait arrive in Duqm

Duqm, The Gulf Observer: In a momentous occasion, His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik extends a gracious welcome to His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, as he arrives at Duqm Airport in Al Wusta Governorate. The distinguished visit is in commemoration of the opening ceremony of the Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries, marking a significant milestone in the bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Kuwait.

Following the warm reception at Duqm Airport, His Majesty the Sultan and His Highness the guest proceeded to the motorcade, flanked by the immaculate honour guards from the Royal Guard of Oman. The ceremonial journey to the refinery headquarters was adorned by the presence of Omani students and students from various nationalities residing in Duqm. Students from Al Saad International School, proudly waving the flags of the Sultanate and the sisterly State of Kuwait, added a vibrant touch to the occasion, showcasing the unity and friendship among nations.

As the motorcade passed through the road leading to the refinery, a jubilant crowd of citizens, filled with joy and excitement, lined the route to express their heartfelt welcome to the distinguished leaders. Their enthusiasm reflected the deep admiration and respect for His Majesty the Sultan and the esteemed guest, the Emir of the State of Kuwait.

Upon reaching the gate of the Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries, a grand reception awaited, featuring the participation of honorable sons and residents of the Al Wusta Governorate. The gathering showcased Omani musical arts, adding a cultural dimension to the event.
