Nusantara Capital City Authority to Unveil IKN Command Center

Jakarta, The Gulf Observer: The Nusantara Capital City Authority (OIKN) is set to inaugurate the IKN Command Center scheduled for Thursday, February 29, and Friday, March 1.
Troy Pantouw, spokesperson for OIKN, revealed on Monday that the IKN Command Center will offer a real-time visualization of the ongoing development in Nusantara, East Kalimantan. “This marks a pivotal moment in our commitment to transparent and efficient urban planning,” he stated.
The IKN Command Center is designed to be operational immediately post-launch, providing a visual representation of the physical development and an in-depth analysis of media input. Pantouw emphasized that this initiative aligns with the principles of a smart city by incorporating information technology and public services to enhance the quality of life for residents.
In addition to the IKN Command Center, OIKN will unveil plans for the construction of a state-owned tech enterprise during the groundbreaking event. Pantouw hinted at further details to be disclosed shortly before the event.
The groundbreaking ceremony is expected to be inaugurated by President Joko Widodo, underlining the national significance of the project. Banking sector firms will also participate in groundbreaking initiatives during the event, further emphasizing the collaborative nature of this transformative project.
The Nusantara Smart City blueprint outlines a comprehensive strategy, focusing on national digital transformation, robust physical infrastructure, and a sustainable city concept.
