Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Oman Artificial Intelligence Summit 2024 commenced today, organized by the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology. The opening ceremony, held under the auspices of HH Sayyid Dr. Kamil Fahd Al Said, Secretary General at the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers, marked the beginning of the two-day event. Over 200 specialists in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced technologies, along with 40 speakers from around the world, are in attendance.

The primary objectives of the summit include streamlining investment procedures, facilitating the establishment of foreign companies, and encouraging investments in the AI sector. Additionally, the summit aims to provide support for innovation initiatives in the realm of AI.

The event is structured around three main topics: “AI and Governments,” “AI and the Work Environment,” and “AI and the Economy.” These focal points will guide discussions and insights shared by experts during the summit.
