Oman Sultan, Japanese Prime Minister Discuss Bilateral Ties and Regional Developments

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman received a telephone call from the Prime Minister of Japan, during which the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and the latest developments in the region.
According to the Oman News Agency, the telephone conversation highlighted the strong and friendly relations between Oman and Japan, with the two sides exchanging views on regional developments and issues of mutual concern.
The Japanese Prime Minister expressed appreciation for the Sultanate of Oman’s efforts to promote dialogue and de-escalation, as well as its continued role in supporting regional and international peace, security and stability.
The call underscored the close cooperation between Oman and Japan and their shared commitment to advancing dialogue and peaceful approaches to addressing regional challenges.
