Omani Delegation Conveys Sultan’s Condolences to Iran’s Acting President
Tehran, The Gulf Observer: At the behest of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, an official delegation from Oman arrived in Tehran on Wednesday to extend condolences to Dr. Mohammad Mokhber, Acting President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the passing of the late President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi and his accompanying delegation.
The Omani delegation, led by Dr. Abdullah Nasser Al Harrasi, Minister of Information, included Dr. Mohammad Said Al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, and Ibrahim Ahmed Al Mu’aini, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The delegation conveyed His Majesty the Sultan’s heartfelt condolences and profound sympathies to the Iranian leadership and the people of Iran during this time of mourning. They prayed for Allah the Almighty’s mercy and forgiveness for the deceased and for strength and solace for their families.
In response, Dr. Mohammad Mokhber expressed his deep gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik for his sincere condolences and kind sentiments. He prayed for the well-being and protection of His Majesty and the Omani people.
This gesture of solidarity underscores the strong and compassionate relations between Oman and Iran, reflecting a shared commitment to mutual support in times of grief.
