President Ilham Aliyev and Turkic Leaders Attend Groundbreaking Ceremony of Turkic Civilization Center

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, along with other heads of state participating in the Informal Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), attended the virtual groundbreaking ceremony of the Turkic Civilization Center on Thursday.

During the ceremony, the participating leaders were briefed in detail about the Center, which is aimed at preserving, studying, and promoting the rich historical, cultural, and spiritual heritage of the Turkic peoples.

According to the presentation, the Center is being designed in accordance with the highest modern standards. The core concept of the project is to highlight Turkic civilization as a great and influential civilization that holds a distinguished place in world history, characterized by a profound philosophical legacy and centuries-old traditions of statehood.

The event also featured a presentation on “GovTech” digital solutions, during which the heads of state were informed about ongoing initiatives in Kazakhstan related to the development and application of artificial intelligence technologies.

During the presentation, officials emphasized the strong potential for expanding cooperation among Turkic states in the fields of digital innovation, artificial intelligence, and technological development, underscoring the shared commitment of OTS member countries toward modernization and regional collaboration.
