President Ilham Aliyev Congratulates Tajikistan on 35th Independence Anniversary

Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has extended his heartfelt congratulations to President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the people of Tajikistan on the 35th anniversary of the country’s state independence.

In his congratulatory message, President Aliyev praised Tajikistan’s progress over the past 35 years in state-building, maintaining internal stability and promoting socio-economic development under President Rahmon’s leadership.

He noted that Tajikistan had steadily strengthened its international standing, while describing the country’s independence and achievements as closely associated with President Rahmon’s leadership.

President Aliyev highlighted the strong bonds of friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, rooted in shared religious, cultural and historical ties.

He said that active high-level dialogue, regular contacts and close cooperation between the two countries were contributing to the further development and deepening of bilateral relations.

The Azerbaijani president expressed confidence that the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, based on mutual trust and support, would continue to advance and grow stronger through joint efforts.

President Aliyev also wished President Rahmon good health, happiness and success in his responsibilities, and conveyed his wishes for lasting peace, well-being and prosperity to the people of Tajikistan.
