President To Lam Embarks on State Visits to Mongolia, Ireland, and France

Hanoi, The Gulf Observer: Party General Secretary and State President To Lam, along with a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, departed from Hanoi on Monday morning for state visits to Mongolia, Ireland, and France, as well as to attend the 19th Francophonie Summit. The visits, which run from September 30 to October 7, underline Vietnam’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic ties and advancing its foreign policy of multilateralization and proactive international integration.
President To Lam is making the visits at the invitation of Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, Irish President Michael D. Higgins, and French President Emmanuel Macron. The state visits aim to bolster Vietnam’s traditional friendship with Mongolia, enhance multi-faceted cooperation with Ireland, and deepen the strategic partnership with France.
The Vietnamese delegation includes prominent officials such as Bùi Thị Minh Hoài, Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee; Nguyễn Duy Ngọc, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chief of the Party Central Committee Office; Lê Hoài Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations; and Bùi Thanh Sơn, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, among others.
President To Lam’s attendance at the 19th Francophonie Summit and his official visit to France also highlight Vietnam’s commitment to fostering cooperative frameworks aligned with the evolving interests of all parties involved. The visits are expected to further strengthen Vietnam’s diplomatic ties, emphasizing its foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, and active participation in the global arena.
