President Tokayev congratulates Zhanibek Alimkhanuly on stunning victory

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated professional boxer Zhanibek Alimkhanuly on his stunning victory over German Vincenzo Gualtieri for WBO and IBF Middleweight titles, according to the reports of Akorda press service.

President Tokayev took to his official X account to extend the congratulatory message to Alimkhanuly, noting his had once again demonstrated to the world the beauty and might of the Kazakh boxing school.

According to the Head of State, Alimkhanuly’s victory will motivate young Kazakhstanis to achieve results. He went on to wish the athlete happiness, health and new achievements in sport.

Recall that the Kazakhstani had outclassed Vincenzo Gualtieri by Koing him in the sixth round of their fight in Texas. He added the IBF Middleweight Belt to his WBO title.
