President Tokayev Welcomes Uzbek President Mirziyoyev
Astana, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev warmly welcomed President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev upon his arrival at the Astana Airport, NHC reports, citing the Akorda press service.
The Uzbek leader is in the Kazakh capital for a state visit. In honor of President Mirziyoyev’s arrival, a Guard of Honor was lined up at the airport.
During the visit, the two leaders will engage in high-level bilateral talks. Additionally, several important documents are expected to be signed, marking a significant step in the cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
