Punjab University’s CEMB Signs MoU with Shihezi University to Advance Health Sciences Research

Lahore, The Gulf Observer: The School of Medicine, Shihezi University, China, and the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), University of the Punjab, Lahore, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance collaboration in advanced scientific research and academic exchange, aligning with global developments in health sciences.

The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Wang Yuanzhi, Vice Dean of the School of Medicine, Shihezi University, Xinjiang, China, and Prof. Dr. Moaz ur Rahman, Director of CEMB, University of Punjab, Pakistan. A press release issued on Sunday highlighted the significance of this agreement.

This landmark partnership was made possible through the efforts of Prof. Dr. He Cheng, Chairman of the Symposium and a distinguished scholar from China Agricultural University, who played a key role in facilitating the collaboration.

The MoU was formalized during the International Symposium on Veterinary Vaccine and Drug Technology Cooperation Among the Belt and Road Countries. The Pakistani delegation participated in this event during their visit to Shihezi.

The strategic partnership aims to foster innovation in health sciences by establishing joint research centers, facilitating researcher and student exchanges, and organizing international conferences. This collaboration is expected to significantly contribute to global advancements in the field of health sciences.
