Riyadh to host Cirque du Soleil’s ‘OVO’ show
Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Chairman of the Board of Directors of General Authority for Entertainment (GEA) Turki Al Al-Sheikh announced that Riyadh will host Cirque du Soleil’s “OVO” show between October 12 and December 3.
The show is organized by the GEA at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University.
The OVO is centered around the life of insects, who play, fight and look for love in a non-stop riot of energy in motion. Their home is filled with biodiversity, beauty, action and moments of quiet emotion. The awestruck insects are intensely curious when a mysterious egg appears, representing the enigma and cycles of their lives.
The OVO Show is an exciting experience, with acrobatics showcasing the unique personalities and abilities of selected insect species, while revealing the beauty of biodiversity in all its forms.
The show has been watched by 7 million people in 26 different countries. About 100 people of 25 nationalities, including 52 performers on the stage, present dazzling aerial shows to the sounds of music from South America.
The Cirque du Soleil’s “OVO” show will be presented for five days a week, starting from Tuesday to Saturday. The show on Tuesdays and Wednesday starts at 20:00 pm, and on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 16:00 pm.
