Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports Joins International Association of Universities of Physical Culture and Sports
Ashgabat The Gulf Observer: The Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports has officially become a member of the International Association of Universities of Physical Culture and Sports, marking a significant milestone in its efforts to engage with the global sports education community.
The membership certificate was ceremoniously presented by the head of the Association, K. Zakiryanov, to S. Gurdov, chairman of the student sports club of the institute and general secretary of the National Federation of Student Sports of Turkmenistan.
The decision to admit the Turkmen institute into the Association was made on December 18 during a meeting held in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Delegates from the Turkmen university actively participated in the proceedings.
Fostering Global Collaboration in Sports Education
The International Association of Universities of Physical Education and Sport focuses on advancing education in physical culture and sports through curriculum updates, experience exchange, and promotion of scientific research. By joining the Association, the Turkmen State Institute gains access to a network of approximately 60 leading universities worldwide that specialize in sports education.
