Saudi Crown Prince, Palestinian President Discuss Gaza Crisis in Phone Call

Neom, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman on Monday received a phone call from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to discuss the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and their security and humanitarian repercussions.
During the conversation, the Crown Prince reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s strong condemnation of the crimes, brutal practices, and displacement attempts perpetrated by Israel against the Palestinian people. He stressed the urgent need for the international community to address the disastrous consequences of the aggression and to ensure the protection of Palestinian civilians.
President Abbas expressed deep appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s steadfast support and principled stance, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince. He noted that Saudi efforts had contributed to the commitment of many countries to recognize the State of Palestine.
Abbas also commended the Kingdom’s role in coordinating positions to secure broad international backing for the Palestinian cause during the recent New York Conference, as well as its continued dedication to standing alongside the Palestinian people and their just cause.
