Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: In a significant step towards advancing archeological research and exploration, the Saudi Heritage Commission and Japan’s esteemed Kanazawa University have formalized a collaborative agreement to conduct archeological work at two prehistoric sites in the Kingdom.

The scientific cooperation agreement, signed on Tuesday, underscores the commitment of both entities to enriching the understanding of Saudi Arabia’s rich cultural heritage. The collaborative efforts will focus on conducting survey work at the historic sites of Jouf and Tabuk, leveraging the expertise and resources of both institutions.
