Shavkat Mirziyoyev Arrives in UAE for Official Visit and High-Level Talks

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: At the invitation of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, arrived in Abu Dhabi on January 13 for an official visit.

President Mirziyoyev was received at the Abu Dhabi International Airport by UAE Vice President Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan and other senior officials. A guard of honor was presented, and the national flags of both nations were displayed in a gesture of respect and hospitality for the distinguished guest.

According to the official itinerary, President Mirziyoyev will attend the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week on January 14, an event that gathers global leaders and innovators to discuss sustainable development and renewable energy initiatives. Additionally, meetings with the heads of leading organizations, companies, and banks in the UAE are scheduled to explore opportunities for bilateral cooperation.

The visit will culminate in high-level talks on January 15, during which the leaders are expected to discuss enhancing the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the UAE in areas such as trade, investment, energy, and innovation.

This visit underscores the growing cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UAE, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and addressing global challenges together.
