Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Serdar Berdimuhamedov discuss bilateral agenda
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who arrived in Tashkent to attend the Economic Cooperation Organization Summit.
The President of Turkmenistan conveyed greetings and best wishes from the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Current issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed in detail in the context of implementing agreements at the highest level.
The parties noted with satisfaction the consistent development and strengthening of multifaceted cooperation and in-depth strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
Practical interaction is enhancing in trade, industry, energy, water management, transport, and other priority areas.
Interregional and cultural-humanitarian exchanges are actively carried out. In October this year, the Turkmenistan Culture Days were successfully held in Uzbekistan.
The two countries’ presidents reviewed the regional agenda and cooperation issues within the framework of multilateral structures.
