Sultan Haitham and King Hamad Hold Official Talks in Muscat

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman and King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain held an official session of talks at Al Alam Palace on Tuesday, reaffirming the longstanding and fraternal relations between their two countries.
At the outset of the session, His Majesty Sultan Haitham extended a warm welcome to King Hamad, acknowledging him as an esteemed guest of the Sultanate of Oman. The Sultan expressed his wishes for a pleasant stay for the King and his accompanying delegation.
In response, King Hamad conveyed his deep appreciation to His Majesty Sultan Haitham for the generous hospitality extended to him and his delegation.
The talks focused on the strengthening of bilateral relations across various sectors, aiming to further the interests of both nations and meet the aspirations of their peoples. The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international developments, discussing matters of mutual interest and concern.
The official session of talks was attended by senior officials from both countries. On the Omani side, it was attended by HH Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, and several other high-ranking officials. The Bahraini delegation included Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of the King, and other senior Bahraini ministers and officials.
The discussions underscored the shared commitment to advancing bilateral ties, particularly in areas such as diplomacy, defense, and cultural cooperation, while promoting peace and stability in the region.
