Tashkent hosts International Medical Exhibition “UzMedExpo – 2023”
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Uzexpocentre in Tashkent hosts the International Medical Exhibition “UzMedExpo – 2023”.
The measures taken to develop the pharmaceutical industry in Uzbekistan were noted at the exhibition’s opening ceremony.
It was noted that significant results have been achieved in the industry in recent years. In terms of growth dynamics, the pharmaceutical market of Uzbekistan is one of the most developing in the CIS.
Over the past 8 months, 41 thousand foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for treatment, indicating the development of domestic medicine and medical tourism.
The participants’ attention was attracted by the medical products, laboratory equipment, and sections on pharmaceuticals, dentistry, medical tourism, beauty, and health presented at the exhibition.
The “UzMedExpo – 2023”, with the participation of representatives of local and foreign manufacturing and distribution companies, is held by the Ministry of Health together with the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, JSC Dori-Darmon and other organizations.
