Turkmen President congratulates Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his victory in elections

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Issues of further deepening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan and enhancing multifaceted collaboration were discussed during a telephone conversation between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The President of Turkmenistan sincerely congratulated the Leader of Uzbekistan on the convincing victory in the Early Presidential Election held the day before.

The active contacts at all levels were noted with satisfaction. Since the beginning of the year, meetings of intergovernmental commissions, political consultations, and meetings of the ministers of transport, energy, and culture have been successfully held.

Trade turnover is growing at a steady pace. Important humanitarian programs are being implemented to bring the two fraternal peoples closer together.

The heads of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan noted the importance of building comprehensive cooperation and promoting projects of practical interaction.
