Turkmenistan and Italy to Present Unique Archaeological Exhibition in Rome

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: Turkmenistan and Italy are preparing a unique archaeological exhibition to be showcased at the Capitoline Museum in Rome, announced Luigi Ferrari, Ambassador of Italy to Turkmenistan. The announcement was reported by the Turkmenistan State Transport and Communications Agency on Monday.
The exhibition will feature a collection of rare artifacts discovered in the ancient regions of Margiana and Nisa. These significant finds stem from joint archaeological expeditions between Turkmenistan and Italy, in collaboration with research groups from Turin and Bologna.
Ambassador Ferrari emphasized that the exhibition will provide the Italian archaeological community and the public with an opportunity to explore the ancient history and rich cultural heritage of Turkmenistan.
This initiative follows a recent exhibition organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Belgium at the Muse Gallery in Brussels. As part of the Civilisations Winter Edition, the event highlighted Turkmenistan’s cultural heritage and was supported by the European Central Asian Creative Alliance and the fashion house Keshde.
The upcoming exhibition in Rome is expected to further strengthen cultural ties between Turkmenistan and Italy while promoting a deeper understanding of the region’s historical significance.
