UAE and Angolan Presidents Deliberate on Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, welcomed His Excellency João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, President of the Republic of Angola, during a meeting held at Qasr Al Bateen in Abu Dhabi.
The occasion marked an opportunity for His Highness to extend a warm welcome to President Lourenço, expressing appreciation for his visit and bilateral relations between the UAE and Angola. President Lourenço, in turn, conveyed his greetings to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing for blessings of goodness, mercy, and peace to prevail worldwide during this sacred period.
The meeting provided a platform for discussions on enhancing cooperation between the two nations across various sectors, with a particular focus on economy, trade, investment, development, and renewable energy. Both leaders explored opportunities to strengthen ties in line with their shared vision of sustainable development and prosperity, aiming to advance mutual interests and benefit the citizens of both countries.
In addition to economic collaboration, the two leaders exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, reflecting the depth of the bilateral relationship and the commitment to furthering cooperation between the UAE and Angola.
The meeting was attended by notable dignitaries, including H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court, and Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, reaffirming the significance of the occasion and the shared commitment to strengthening bilateral ties between the UAE and Angola.
