UAE and Egypt Strengthen Economic Cooperation in Key Sectors

Cairo, The Gulf Observer: Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy, and Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Egypt’s Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation, met to explore ways to enhance economic collaboration between the two nations. The discussions took place on the sidelines of the Arab Economic and Social Council meetings, chaired by the UAE at the Arab League headquarters.

The ministers focused on economic policies aimed at stimulating the private sector, increasing productivity, and deepening bilateral cooperation in the development of economic programs that align with global trends. They also discussed strategies to boost the performance and efficiency of the planning system and economic competitiveness, as well as sharing best practices that promote sustainable development.

Bin Touq emphasized the UAE’s readiness to collaborate with Egypt to strengthen joint economic efforts and advance the development agendas of both countries. Dr. Al-Mashat highlighted the strong and enduring relationship between Egypt and the UAE, reaffirming Egypt’s commitment to further enhancing bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including food security, infrastructure, and energy.

Both ministers expressed optimism about the future of UAE-Egypt cooperation and their mutual dedication to fostering economic growth and development through innovative and strategic partnerships.
