UAE, Czech Republic Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and Regional Security in Prague

Parague, The Gulf Observer: Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Andrej Babiš during his working visit to Prague, where both sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across a range of sectors.
During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed the longstanding friendship between the United Arab Emirates and the Czech Republic, exploring opportunities to enhance collaboration in ways that support shared development goals and mutual interests.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to deepening cooperation with the Czech Republic and broadening constructive partnerships across various fields.
The discussions also covered a number of regional and international developments of mutual concern. Both sides reviewed the repercussions of what the UAE described as unprovoked Iranian terrorist attacks targeting civilian sites and facilities in the country using missiles and drones, and discussed their implications for international maritime security, global energy supplies, and the world economy.
The meeting further addressed terrorist drone attacks launched from Iraqi territory, including an attack targeting the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant, which reportedly damaged an electricity generator outside the facility’s inner perimeter.
Prime Minister Andrej Babiš expressed the Czech Republic’s solidarity with the UAE and strongly condemned the attacks.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed appreciation for the Czech Republic’s supportive stance, while affirming the safety and security of all residents and visitors in the UAE.
The Czech Prime Minister also hosted a luncheon in honour of Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and the accompanying delegation.
