UAE President Receives Official Invitation to Attend Arab Summit in Baghdad

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received His Excellency Fuad Mohammed Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, who delivered an official invitation on behalf of Iraqi President His Excellency Dr Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid to attend the upcoming Arab Summit, scheduled to be held in Baghdad on May 17.
The meeting took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, where both sides discussed bilateral relations and explored ways to enhance cooperation between the UAE and Iraq, emphasizing mutual interests and shared aspirations for prosperity.
Regional and international developments were also reviewed during the talks, with both leaders highlighting the need for enhanced peace, stability, and cooperation across the region. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed reaffirmed the deep-rooted ties between the two nations and extended his best wishes for continued progress and stability in Iraq.
The high-level meeting was attended by several senior UAE officials, including:
