UAE Re-Elected to UNWTO Executive Council for 2025-2029 Term

Doha, The Gulf Observer: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been re-elected to the Executive Council of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) for the term spanning from 2025 to 2029. The announcement was made at the 51st meeting of the UNWTO Regional Committee for the Middle East, which convened today in Doha, the Qatari capital.

Heading the UAE delegation at the meeting was Abdullah Ahmed Al Saleh, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Economy. During the session, various tourism initiatives and projects were discussed, with a focus on supporting the growth and development of the tourism sector across the Middle East region.

The re-election underscores the UAE’s continued commitment to advancing global tourism and collaborating with international stakeholders to foster sustainable development within the industry.
