Uzbekistan Sends Humanitarian Aid to Flood-Affected Areas in Kazakhstan
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: In response to the devastating floods in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan has extended a gesture of solidarity by dispatching humanitarian aid to assist those affected by the disaster.
Bekzod Hidoyatov, the press secretary of the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, announced on his Telegram channel that the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, issued an order to send humanitarian aid to the flood-affected regions of Kazakhstan. This aid initiative underscores Uzbekistan’s commitment to supporting neighboring countries during times of crisis.
The delivery of humanitarian aid is being coordinated through a decree issued by the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, which addresses the logistical aspects of organizing and transporting the aid to its designated destination in Kazakhstan.
The aid shipment, comprising 15 large cargo vehicles, includes a range of essential supplies such as food products, outerwear for men, women, and children, blankets, pillows, hygiene products, specialized equipment, tents, rubber boat kits, and other necessities. These items are intended to alleviate the immediate needs of those impacted by the floods and contribute to their recovery efforts.
Uzbekistan’s humanitarian assistance reflects the spirit of regional cooperation and solidarity, emphasizing the importance of collective support in times of adversity.
