President Ilham Aliyev Arrives in Kyrgyzstan for 11th Summit of Turkic States
Bishkek, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic today to participate in the 11th Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), underscoring Azerbaijan’s commitment to strengthening regional cooperation among Turkic nations.
Upon arrival at Bishkek Manas 2 International Airport, President Aliyev was honored with a formal ceremony, where a guard of honor was assembled to welcome the Azerbaijani leader. Greeting him at the airport were Akylbek Zhaparov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Head of the Presidential Administration, along with other distinguished officials.
The summit, a pivotal gathering for the OTS member states, is set to focus on bolstering economic ties, fostering cultural unity, and enhancing strategic partnerships across the Turkic-speaking world. President Aliyev’s attendance reflects Azerbaijan’s active role in promoting unity and collaboration within the Turkic community.
