Putin and Ilham Aliyev Discuss Strategic Partnership in Phone Call
Moscow, The Gulf Observer: Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Friday, where they discussed the practical implementation of mutually beneficial projects in the fields of industry and transportation. This conversation followed the agreements reached during President Putin’s state visit to Azerbaijan this August, as well as the recent visit of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to Baku.
According to media reports, both leaders expressed their commitment to advancing the strategic partnership and allied relations between Azerbaijan and Russia. They reaffirmed their shared interest in enhancing bilateral cooperation across key sectors.
The two presidents also agreed to continue high-level contacts in order to ensure the successful execution of the projects discussed, further strengthening ties between the two nations.
