UAE President Holds Talks with Mongolian Prime Minister on Strengthening Bilateral Ties

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene, Prime Minister of Mongolia, convened in Abu Dhabi to discuss enhancing bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for collaboration across various sectors.

The meeting, held at Qasr Al Shati, focused on fostering cooperation in trade, economy, renewable energy, infrastructure, climate action, and tourism. Both leaders emphasized the importance of advancing ties to serve the mutual interests of their nations and peoples.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the Mongolian Prime Minister and his delegation, extending greetings to His Excellency Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, President of Mongolia. Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene reciprocated by conveying the Mongolian President’s well wishes for the UAE’s continued prosperity.

The discussions also highlighted shared interests in regional and global stability, including collaboration through the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), where the UAE is a dialogue partner and Mongolia holds observer status. Sheikh Mohamed underscored the UAE’s commitment to multilateral cooperation to achieve global development goals.

Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene expressed gratitude for the warm reception and reaffirmed Mongolia’s dedication to strengthening ties with the UAE.

The meeting was attended by prominent UAE officials, including H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, and several other senior officials. The Mongolian delegation accompanying Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene also participated in the talks.

This engagement reflects the growing partnership between the UAE and Mongolia, with both nations committed to deepening collaboration in key developmental areas.
