Syria’s Interim Government Prioritizes Security and State Stability

Damascus, The Gulf Observer: Syria’s interim government will prioritize security control, the stability of state institutions, and efforts to prevent the collapse of statehood, according to Mohammed al-Bashir, head of the interim cabinet.

Speaking to the SANA news agency, al-Bashir outlined the government’s core objectives, emphasizing its commitment to addressing immediate challenges while paving the way for a stable future.

“The interim government will be tasked with controlling security, maintaining the stability of state institutions, and preventing the collapse of the state,” he stated. Additionally, al-Bashir highlighted the importance of providing Syrians with essential services during the transitional period until a new government, aligned with the people’s aspirations, is established.

“Our people deserve to live a decent life and receive high-quality services,” he pledged, affirming the government’s focus on improving living conditions amid significant challenges.

Al-Bashir also pointed to the administration’s prior experience governing Idlib and nearby regions, which he described as a source of valuable expertise in addressing the complex needs of the Syrian people during this critical phase.

The interim government’s efforts are expected to be instrumental in fostering stability and ensuring the delivery of essential services during Syria’s transitional period.
