President Xi Jinping to Visit Macao for 25th Anniversary Celebrations
Beijing, The Gulf Observer: Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Macao from December 18 to 20 to attend a series of events marking the 25th anniversary of Macao’s return to the motherland. During his visit, Xi, who also serves as general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, will participate in the inauguration ceremony of the sixth-term government of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR).
In addition to attending official ceremonies, President Xi will conduct an inspection tour throughout his stay in the Macao SAR. The visit underscores the continued strengthening of Macao’s integration with the broader development goals of the nation and highlights the region’s progress over the past quarter-century.
