Saudi and Pakistan Interior Ministers Discuss Strengthening Security Cooperation

Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif met with Pakistan’s Minister of Interior and Minister of Narcotics Control Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi on Monday at the Ministry of Interior’s headquarters in Riyadh.
The officials held productive talks focusing on enhancing security cooperation between the two nations, particularly in the area of combating drug smuggling. They also discussed other topics of mutual interest, aiming to strengthen their bilateral ties in the security domain.
At the start of the session, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud warmly welcomed Minister Naqvi and his delegation, highlighting that the meeting was held under the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, reflecting the importance of Saudi-Pakistani relations.
The meeting was attended by high-ranking officials, including Deputy Minister of Interior Dr. Nasser Al-Daoud, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Dr. Khalid Al-Batal, Director of Public Security Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Bassami, and other senior members of the Ministry of Interior. On the Pakistani side, Ambassador Ahmad Farooq, Director General of Passports and Immigration Mustafa Jamal Qazi, and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Rifat Mukhtar Rajab participated in the discussions.
The session underscored the strong commitment to strengthening cooperation in the fight against transnational crime and enhancing overall security collaboration between the two nations.
