Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Meets EU Ambassador to Discuss 2025 Cooperation Plans

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, Mahri Bashimova, met on Monday with Beata Peks, the Ambassador of the European Union to Turkmenistan, to discuss future collaboration and joint events planned for 2025.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the two sides also addressed key issues concerning ongoing bilateral cooperation. The discussions focused on the development of partnerships in various sectors, including political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian areas.
The meeting also highlighted the significance of the recent protocol signed between Turkmenistan and the European Union. On March 18, 2024, Turkmenistan and the EU signed a protocol to the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement at the European Council, which is expected to further strengthen their relationship.
This dialogue underscores the continued commitment of both Turkmenistan and the European Union to expand their multifaceted cooperation, with a focus on fostering mutual progress and understanding across various domains.
