Sheikh Mansour Chairs Ministerial Development Council Meeting at Qasr Al Watan

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, chaired the Ministerial Development Council meeting at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.

The Council reviewed the progress of key government programmes and projects, deliberating on several regulatory decisions submitted by federal ministries and entities.

The meeting agenda covered proposed regulatory measures in the health and social empowerment sectors, alongside discussions on the implementation of government housing policies under the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme.

Additionally, the Council assessed the latest findings of the committee responsible for evaluating flood damage on infrastructure and federal projects, focusing on solutions to enhance national resilience.

The discussions also addressed strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening the UAE’s global competitiveness in renewable energy, the green economy, investment, higher education, and entrepreneurship. Enhancing government efficiency and evaluating labour market trends to ensure alignment with national priorities were also key topics on the agenda.

The Ministerial Development Council continues to play a pivotal role in driving the UAE’s sustainable development and reinforcing its position as a global leader in innovation and economic growth.
