Turkmen Scientists Develop Innovative Biocomposite Injector for Efficient Irrigation

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: A cutting-edge device designed to optimize irrigation water conservation and enhance plant health has been developed at the International Scientific and Technological Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.
The biocomposite injector for drip irrigation, created under the supervision of Candidate of Technical Sciences Meretmuhammet Khudaiberdyev, offers a sustainable and efficient solution for agricultural irrigation, reports Turkmenistan: Golden Age.
The innovative device not only facilitates water conservation but also performs disinfection functions, inhibits fungal growth, and fosters beneficial microbial activity, thereby improving seedling quality and enhancing plant resistance to diseases.
A key feature of the injector is its eco-friendly composition, as it is manufactured using natural waste materials. Its length can be adjusted according to plant size, and its specially designed relief grooves and branches ensure optimal root nutrition while preventing root rot. Furthermore, the injector aids in the efficient absorption of fertilizers, promoting healthier crop growth.
Following rigorous testing, the device has proven to be reusable, contributing to environmental sustainability by minimizing waste.
Amidst the challenges posed by climate change, this breakthrough innovation holds significant potential to elevate Turkmenistan’s agricultural sector, improving crop yields while ensuring environmental safety.
