IRGC: Advanced Missile Strikes on Israel Deliver Message to U.S. Amid Escalating Conflict
Tehran, The Gulf Observer: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announced early Wednesday that Iran has delivered a direct message to the United States, the chief sponsor of the Israeli regime, through a powerful missile strike targeting Israeli positions. The operation marked the 11th wave of Iranian retaliatory strikes in response to recent Israeli aggression.
In a press statement, the IRGC confirmed that first-generation Fattah hypersonic missiles were deployed in the latest round of attacks. The missiles reportedly breached Israel’s aerial defense systems and underscored what the IRGC described as Iran’s “unquestionable dominance” in the skies over the occupied territories.
“Tonight’s missile strike demonstrated that we have achieved total control over the skies of the occupied territories, the inhabitants of which have become absolutely defenseless against Iran’s missile strikes,” the statement said. It further emphasized that the action sent “a clear message of Iran’s might to Tel Aviv’s warmongering ally, which continues to harbor delusional aspirations.”
Video footage from inside the occupied territories showed Iranian missiles striking ground targets, with the Israeli Iron Dome system visibly malfunctioning for the second consecutive night. In one instance, the system reportedly misfired, causing fires in Tel Aviv. Subsequent videos circulating on social media captured scenes of widespread panic and devastation, with civilians seen navigating rubble-strewn streets.
The latest Iranian action follows a deadly Israeli assault on Iranian territory during the night of June 13, in which residential areas were struck and top Iranian military officials were killed. The attack resulted in numerous civilian casualties and damage to entire population centers.
In response, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei swiftly appointed new senior military commanders and vowed severe retribution, declaring that life would turn bleak for Israel. Soon after, Iranian Armed Forces launched widespread retaliatory operations, striking key locations including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa with a combination of ballistic missiles and drones.
According to Iranian authorities, life in the occupied territories has been severely disrupted, with many Israeli civilians forced to remain in bomb shelters for extended periods. The IRGC has stated that the military campaign will continue “as long as necessary” to ensure that Iran’s message is clearly understood by both Israel and its Western backers.
