Muscat to Host First Singapore Film Festival in Mid-September
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Oman will welcome the inaugural Singapore Film Festival from September 18–20, ahead of the European Film Festival from September 21–28 at Cinepolis, Oman Avenues Mall.
The three-day festival will screen three award-winning Singaporean films — Ilo Ilo, A Land Imagined, and The Autograph — exploring themes of cultural diversity, migration, and socio-political issues.
Organised by the International Film Foundation of Oman (IFFO) and the Singapore Embassy, the festival aims to showcase the depth of Singaporean cinema to Omani audiences. Screenings start at 7:30 pm, with tickets priced at OMR 1.
