Azerbaijan, Ukraine Parliamentary Speakers Discuss Strengthening Cooperation
Baku, The Gulf Observer: Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis, held a telephone conversation with Ruslan Stefanchuk, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, to discuss strengthening interparliamentary cooperation.
During the call, both leaders praised the existing relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine and explored ways to further enhance parliamentary ties amid the growth of bilateral relations across all sectors. They emphasized the importance of reciprocal visits, with Speaker Gafarova extending an official invitation to Chairman Stefanchuk to visit Azerbaijan.
The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening interparliamentary collaboration through joint efforts at both bilateral and international levels.
