Azerbaijan and Romania Explore Media Cooperation and Joint Initiatives

Baku, The Gulf Observer: The Media Development Agency of Azerbaijan hosted a meeting with the participation of Azerbaijani Ambassador to Romania Gudsi Osmanov and a Romanian delegation led by Cristian Augustin Niculescu-Țâgârlaș, Chair of the Romanian Senate’s Committee on Culture and Media and member of the Romania-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group.

During the meeting, Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, highlighted the steady development of Azerbaijan-Romania cooperation across multiple sectors, emphasizing the importance of expanding collaboration in the field of media.

Ismet Sattarov, Chairman of the Audiovisual Council, spoke on the progress of international cooperation in the audiovisual sphere and underlined the necessity of experience sharing and launching joint projects to strengthen this partnership.

Cristian Augustin Niculescu-Țâgârlaș emphasized the value of promoting the exchange of expertise and resources, while also advocating for joint initiatives aimed at combating disinformation and enhancing media literacy.
