Iranian President Expresses Solidarity with Pakistan over Flood Tragedy in Call with PM Shehbaz Sharif

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, during which he expressed profound sympathy over the devastating floods affecting several regions of Pakistan.

President Pezeshkian conveyed Iran’s solidarity with the government and people of Pakistan in this difficult time and reaffirmed Tehran’s readiness to extend any necessary assistance to support ongoing flood relief and recovery efforts.

The two leaders also underscored the importance of continued cooperation and mutual support between the neighboring countries in times of hardship.
