Azerbaijan, Qatar’s Power International Holding Explore Energy Cooperation

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan and Qatar’s Power International Holding have engaged in high-level discussions aimed at expanding cooperation in the energy sector and identifying opportunities for joint projects.

Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov announced the talks on his official “X” (formerly Twitter) account, noting that the meeting took place during an official visit to Qatar.

“As part of our visit to Qatar, we met with Ramez Al-Khayyat, President and Group CEO of Power International Holding. During the discussions, we emphasized the particular importance of advancing mutually beneficial initiatives. We also explored opportunities to broaden cooperation in the energy sector and to implement prospective joint projects,” Jabbarov stated.

The talks highlight Azerbaijan’s ongoing efforts to diversify and strengthen international energy partnerships, while positioning itself as a key player in global energy markets.
