New Modern Village Inaugurated in Turkmenistan’s Ahal Province

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: A new modern village, Dovletli Mekan, was inaugurated on Tuesday in the Ongaldy gengesh of Ak Bugday district, Ahal province, Turkmenistan’s state media reported.

The opening ceremony was attended by government officials, members of the Mejlis and Halk Maslahaty, representatives of public organizations, local elders, and residents.

The newly built settlement comprises 400 houses, an administrative building, a health center, a secondary school for 640 students, a kindergarten for 320 children, and a shopping center. The village has been equipped with modern utilities, illuminated roads, landscaped green areas, and a park.

The school is fitted with multimedia equipment, sports facilities, and a conference hall. The kindergarten is designed to provide both education and recreation for children, while the health center and pharmacy ensure access to medical services.

Each residential unit has been constructed to modern standards, featuring a yard with land plots, utility buildings, parking space, and reliable infrastructure.

The establishment of Dovletli Mekan forms part of Turkmenistan’s state programs aimed at fostering socioeconomic development and improving living conditions across the regions.
